Bay Horse Tavern
At first glance, the Bay Horse seems like a bit of a run-down, dive bar. Then you see the jukebox. An oppressively bright touch screen lights up the bar as the words “Gazillions of Songs!” flash across the display. The owners of the Bay Horse brought in the futuristic jukebox complete with Bose surround-sound speakers after the speakers blew in the previous one. We chatted with Ashley Dutton (not pictured) about the internet-connected, all-powerful TouchTunes jukebox.
Upside?
The new one has a wider variety—you can download if it’s not there.
Downside?
It’s more expensive, that’s everybody’s complaint. [Songs on the new jukebox are three for $1 or 18 for $5. It's more expensive if the song is not already on the jukebox’s playlist.]
Favorite artist?
Buckcherry or 3 Doors Down. I’m just the bartender, it doesn’t matter what I like.
Least favorite?
Nothing. If it gets repetitive you can play your song next. If you pay an extra credit you can get your song to play next.
