The Greens Bar & Grill

Anyone who has driven down South Alvernon Way has seen The Greens Bar & Grill. It's hard to miss the giant, orange face of a hideous monster creature painted on its front and side. The monster is in honor of the owner's love of hunting, said bartender Brooke Turner. While there's no venison on the menu, it is chocked full of stuff like gooey, yummy chicken wings, ribeye steak and mashed potato Mondays and beer-battered Mozerella sticks as big as New Hampshire. Pool tables, sports viewing TVs and video games, like Deer Hunter, also grace the place. Drinks are solid enough to get you drunk and the bartender's funny enough to make you laugh -- even if you're stone sober.
