Unicorn Sports Lounge

Every day is a special day at the Unicorn, ranging from free chili dogs on Thursdays to burger nights on Tuesdays. While it's billed a sports joint, you don't find the howling and screaming of most sports bars. The "lounge" part of the name is more accurate, with comfy furniture and laid-back competitions like darts, pinball and pool. You'll find Texas hold ‘em poker Wednesdays and Fridays through Sundays and, yes, plenty of games on the TVs. Bartender Kevin Smith says the only misconception folks get is from the Unicorn part of the moniker, even though the bar has  had that name for a couple of decades. "People call asking if it's a gay bar," he says. "It's not."
