We have been going to Laffs for years and every time there has has been a heckler or trouble maker, they have been escorted off the premises. Well, this was not the case last night. There was a table of trailer park rejects disturbing the whole club the whole evening. They were being loud, rude, and obnoxious. They must of all just bought smart phones with cameras, because all you saw were flashes all night long. They were not there to enjoy the comedians, they were there to drink and cause problems. The door guy/manager kept sitting by them and threatening to kick them out, but since they were spending bank to get wasted, why kick them out? Let's just make the other patrons suffer. Thanks A Lot! We will now be renting comedians on DVD.

This is a horrible place! If you work there you will be walking on eggshells. I was only there for a couple of months and I saw 2 people fired before I got fired and none of the reasons were substantial. There were never any warnings and the way they fire you is horrible. As far as children. Do not send your children there. They are abusive, they have the same snack over and over I think there are 3 options for snacks. The kids do not sleep head to toe so there are a lot of kids that get and stay sick. The mats are never sanitized so your child could and will be sleeping in another childs drool and germs. The preschoolers do not have their own restroom so they are shuttled to the bathroom all the time causing them to have to hold their bladders a lot which is not healthy. There are abusive kids that get away with the abuse and mean behavior because they have connections with the director. When I got fired I had the option to leave my kids their and I withdrew them the same day, My daughters have been in many daycare centers and this is the only one they did not want to go to on a daily basis even after being there for a couple of months. The preschoolers do not learn essential things because the director care more about the day program than teaching the kids. Your child will leave with many art projects but not knowing his or her ABC's numbers or colors, or even how to begin to write their name. Afterschool kids are bored when they go there and if it wasnt for the teachers occasionally trying to change the plans to make it interesting for them the kids will not like it. This is a program for adults not for kids and I would strongly advice you not to work there. I do not know a single person that works there that is happy. Everyone is miserable especially when the director is there. She is evil to the teachers and staff and yells at you in front of your class. Horrible place!!! I caution anyone that might send their kids or wants to work there to reconsider!!!

Liz Hernandez Gallery was one of the first venues to exhibit, promote and sell work by local artists who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to do so in Tucson at that time. A huge success, Liz Hernandez Gallery created a synergy and excitement in the local art scene that has been hard to replicate. Many of the artists continued on to show their work at Hernandez Contemporary Fine Art in Scottsdale, as well as other renowned venues across the country.

As most of you know. I left DT Tucson Vaudeville on Congress back in June. I was running that spot doing most of the bookings and also had my TGIF Friday night. The Owners and family-in worker(s) were just lazy, had no clue about anything, rude, and were not on top of their business along with not caring about the music scene as much as me. I was doing all the contact, booking, setting up work while they sit there and profited. Whats positive about this bad situation is learning the business ins and outs and what to do and what not to do. This made me a better person/DJ/Artist and outstanding business entity.

This restaurant and snow cone eatery has moved and is now located at 921 W Congress in Tucson, AZ. It has also changed names to Sonoran Delights. They offer great fresh fruite and other flavorings for great snow cones! They also offer great Mexican food, fast and inexpensive! It was a very enjoyable place to stop and enjoy a meal and dessert.

We changed our plans to go to this restaurant, what a mistake. The waiter was fine but the noise level was horrible. We could not talk to each other and the waiter could not hear us either. There was a huge party of over 25 people in our room and the noise they were making was deafening. Once the food came we were very disappointed. The carnitas plate was boring and did not come with sour cream or guacamole. None of us finished our food and met the waiter out at the front desk to wait for our check.

I have been eating at this restaurant for over a year now and it is hands down my favorite! The food is great, the service is great and I love the changes. They now have an expanded menu where a salad is included with your entree. They are now open for lunch everyday and I have to say the Italian cheesesteak sub is out of this world. I am not sure why anyone would say anything negetive about this place, the food is prepared fresh, from fresh ingredients and I have yet to see anything bad go on here or recieve bad food.

I have eaten in many Italian restaurante in Tucson & never before was so pleased with J. Marinara's. It was recommended by a friend. Food was out of this world. I had "Lazana" and it was so delicious. You get a salad with any entree which I never had a slad like this before. It had more then just lettuce and tomatoes. I can't say enough about the service. Our server was on top of everything. I started out with a shrip coctail and the shrimp were hugh. I will be back to taste other items on the menu and will bring some friends along. I must try the Lemoncello cake, next time I hear it is to die for. I found out that they do catering also.

Kenny D’s 1 & 2 are both BAD for YOU! Service is bad. Sandwiches are bad. Prices are bad. Atmosphere is way bad. Why would Kenny open #2, when # 1 needs a total makeover? I miss the Sonic that used to be at the #2. There is never anybody at the # 2. I wonder why? Kenny, Chicago wants you back home.

Friendly atmosphere, great low priced drinks, nice service. Clean and well kept. Great specials and poker. I'll be back for more of the small neighborhood feeling.

Don Garrot, one of the three owners of this awful business, took advantage of my father who is his business partner, and was in an alzheimers-like state. He manipulated him and stole his money. He is a two faced con artist, please do not visit this establishment. Don always gets drunk off of wine while he works, burns and wastes food and puts others in danger, driving home drunk from the restaurant when it closes. Yes, it has been reported to the police. He couldn't keep any employees because he treated them like garbage, which is why the only person who works with him is his girlfriend Theresa. He also pockets the profits straight from the register.

Sauce has long been one of my family's favorite spots to eat. They have a wide variety of food for a modest price. They don't mind taking special orders for pizzas or adding your favorite ingredient to a salad or pasta. The staff is friendly and attentive; the restaurant is always clean, and we consistently have an enjoyable experience. Truly a great place to eat.
MarioT1450 wrote about Woody's Bar
I get to Tucson for a week every year for business. Last time I was at Woodys it was an ok place. Now however it has gone to hell. The patio bar is never open any more, what used to be a nice outdoor area is now a dusty dirt lot with a few small half dead palm trees and the inside feels like a recently converted cinderblock barn. The place actually echoes. I stopped in 3 different times this trip, once I was the only person in the place other than the 1 bartender, the 2 other times there were 5 or 6 people, mostly the same people both times. All 3 times I stopped by it was between 9 and 11 at night. The drinks were just ok as were the prices, the "crowd" lackluster, the atmosphere dismal.

Don't order the baby back ribs. It's not that they taste bad in fact they are quite delicious but it's the amount they give you that upset me. On the menu it does not say if it is a half rack or full rack. Seeing that the price was similar to other restaurants that offered a full rack of ribs I foolishly ordered them without asking. To my disgust when they brought the plate out I was extremely disappointed. It felt like a slap in the face when I looked down and noticed that it was a half rack. It wasn't just the fact that it was a half rack but that they cut the ribs individually and stacked them on top of each other to make it look like they gave me a heaping portion. On top of that they only give you one side and if you want another it will cost you an arm and a leg. This restaurant sucks!

We loved our stay, even in June! The hotel is exceptional and I loved the native Indian flutist who played in the valley at 6:30 each night. The drinks from the mixologist taught you new recipes and tasted amazing. My favorite appetizer was the pulled pork slider served on a cornbread muffin. Wonderful staff.
ILIKEFOOD42 wrote about Shot in the Dark Cafe
Not only do they have a huge menu with a ton of variety, they serve all of it 24/7! They're also more flexible about substitutions than just about any restaurant I've been to. Great place for coffee & espresso and awesome place to hang out! Best part of all though is that they're owned and operated 100% by every member of the staff equally. Five stars all around!

I haven't tried too many of the menu items. But from what was tried. The hamburgers and chicken fried stead are ok. I ordered the Cobb salad recently which I think was horrible and would not order again. The turkey in the salad was not very good and had some black filmy stuff on the edges. Old lettuce pieces with black edges were not picked out. Ended up paying for the salad but eating barely any of it.
BreakfastHound wrote about Egg Connection
I consider myself a breakfast nut. I love breakfast and never skip it. Sometimes I have two! Let me tell you the best place in Tucson and possible Arizona is the Egg Connection on the corner of Ft. Lowell and Country Club. I ordered the "Huevos Rancheros" -- to die for. Fresh salsa, nice home fries ( I could definitely tell they were not frozen crap a lot of other places use), and a huge tortilla. I liked it so much I just had to take the time to go on line and let the world (wide web) know! My girlfriend had the "Marx French Toast Platter." Three huge slices of French toast, two eggs, and a mega load of bacon. Hands down that is the best French toast I have ever had, seen, tasted, experienced in my entire 32 years of existence on this planet. Do not only them, but yourself a favor and check them out! Yum!! And remember to be nice and courteous to your wait staff. A lot of people forget just how hard they work! :)
