First Friday Shorts

This monthly program celebrates local filmmakers—with a twist. 'Red Meat' man Max Cannon plays local films for three minutes and then gives you a chance to boo them down. (Cannon's in charge, but he'll comply when the audience boos loudly enough.) Some films do screen the whole way through though, and are then among the choices for best short of the night and the prize of $200.
