The countdown continues

In an attempt to do justice to the multitude of cinematic achievements of the past 10 years, we conducted an internal survey among Metromix film writers. The resulting top 50 picks are a varied collection of titles released between 2000 and 2009 that were passionately championed by at least some—and sometimes all—of us.

We're presenting the list in groups of 10 over a five week period. And we turn the discussion over to you to agree, disagree and submit choices of your own in the comments section.
