2009 was unquestionably Zoe Saldana's breakout year. She starred in two of Hollywood's biggest hits—"Avatar" and "Star Trek"—and the mighty presence of "Avatar" during award season made her a welcome fixture on the red carpet. But she had been a working actress for a decade, appearing in a wide range of both hits and flops before finding fame.
Now she's starring in her very own action vehicle, "Colombiana," produced by "La Femme Nikita" creator Luc Besson.
