Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and friend
In the annals of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, 2011 will go down as the year it got weird. Inductees Alice Cooper and Tom Waits stole the show from the rest of the Rock Hall's class of 2011: pioneering R&B singer Darlene Love, New Orleans legend Dr. John, Elektra Records founder Jac Holzman, piano man Leon Russell and a humble, sequined-suited singer-songwriter named Neil Diamond. Cooper was inducted alongside his band (and a very photogenic boa constrictor); Waits was inducted solo, but invited along his good friend Neil Young to help him celebrate. Bette Midler, Rob Zombie, John Legend and Elton John were among the presenters. The ceremony airs this Sunday, March 20, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
