We can envision Grill as the backdrop for a ‘50s film noir flick, with the private dick played by Humphrey Bogart. The P.I. loves the place but grumbles about the hit-or-miss service. He’s a pig, calls the waitresses 'skirts' but keeps coming back because strong coffee constantly percolates, the tater tots are always crispy hot and he can show up any time of the day or night to nurse his whiskey hangover. He lurks for the fabulous food, especially that Grill burger.
