We like Ike’s Downtown for their huge menu of caffeinated beverages that open our sleepy eyes and get our synapses firing for the work day. We come back for their fresh sandwiches and salads and occasionally indulge in a delicious cookie, brownie or pastry. The café is situated in the ground floor of the historic Pioneer Hotel, now an office building, and features a clean, urban décor. Because it’s located at the busy corner of Pennington and Stone avenues, sitting at the window stools makes for great people watching.
