Sushi on Oracle

You might not usually go to a sushi place for ice cream, but that’s probably because they don’t serve mochi. This Japanese treat is made by preparing a glutinous mound of rice and pounding it into a paste. It’s then wrapped around a Japanese ice cream such as green tea or red bean, and frozen into dough balls of deliciousness.
Sushi on Oracle takes great care in the presentation of its mochi ($4), serving it in a glass cup with oranges and blueberries. If you don’t want to travel up north, Yoshimatsu Healthy Japanese Eatery also serves it in packages for $5.
