Vivace

Chef Daniel Scordato opened Vivace in 1993, and since has built it into a staple based on his focused attention to the holy trinity of fine dining: cuisine, atmosphere, service. It's no surprise, then, that the overwhelming majority of local chefs pick it among their favorites, chefs including Fire + Spice executive chef David Ferrara, Acacia sous chef Justin Andrews, Chef Alisah owner Ahmet Alisah and Little Cafe Poca Cosa chef-owner Marcela Davila. It's nice, too, to see that Vivace is a family affair: Here, Scordato's nephew Justin Fitzsimons prepares the restaurant's signature grilled chicken breast.
