Gelato makes its long-overdue entrance to the university area with this small shop next to Grimaldi’s Pizza. Owner Ivan Leucchina comes straight from Italy, boasting that he uses all-natural flavors instead of the pre-made mixes common at other shops. Pick from a couple dozen flavors of gelato and sorbet, including hazelnut, fennel and hot chocolate. And, this place serves excellent espresso drinks too.
