We usually get a warm welcome and a wave when we walk into Chuy's. Manager Bob always seems happy to see us. It's a pretty friendly, laid-back place. If you've been to one Chuy's, you pretty much know what to expect: crazy decor, very live acoustics, cold beer and good mesquite-grilled chicken, fish or beef, and some Baja-style Mexican food. Complimentary all-you-can-eat chips, with several salsas. Their basic salsa is mild, watery and uses canned tomatoes, but if you want a kick, try the Cabo salsa. It's marked 'medium,' but take that with a grain of salt and a couple extra chips, 'cos it has a major black pepper taste.
