From the folks who bring you the hub of activity that is Hotel Congress, Maynards is both a market with a regional focus, a deli and a coffee shop and a full, fine-dining eatery with a fabulous list of specialty cocktails and everything from high-end steaks to well-priced pizzas. The space is gorgeous, as it's housed in the beautifully restored Historic Train Depot, and you can enjoy your meal on the large patio and watch the trains go by. Or, sit in the market and enjoy a sandwich, salad and a latte at the 18-seat table crafted from a tree burned on Mount Lemmon. The restaurant, with its burnt-orange glow thanks to sconces everywhere, is cozy, including the long bench where you can enjoy a drink and people watch while waiting for your table. The accent is on fresh and local foods in both halves of Maynards, and the restaurant offers a number of daily specials, from starters to desserts.
