It's a deli as the name says—including a deli case with meats, cheeses and desserts—but one with finer dining touches as well as a mix of Jewish, Italian and American cuisines. You won't find many specialty and smoked fish platters in Tucson, but you will at Shlomo & Vito's, plus an array of homey dinner items—mac 'n cheese, two varieties of stuffed cabbage, chicken marsala—and a lunch menu with quite a few salads and soups, plus sandwiches, corn dogs, burgers and more. Executive chef Ernesto Torres is kind enough to serve breakfast—French toast, corned beef and pastrami hash with eggs, bagels and lox, and on—all day, every day. And if you're feeling sporty, there are several widescreen TVs inside and out.
